KBX Architecture

The KBX Data Management Suite utilizes Kubes of relational data to incorporate the business layer of information into a format that accommodates extensibility, aggregation,and ad-hoc query capability.

The Kube approach to reporting uses the KBX™ Kube Manager interface, which is built around KBACE Technologies’ innovative solution to transferring data from Oracle to the end user’s desktop in a memory- and time-efficient manner.



Within the KBX Kube Manager, users submit requests directly to the database server. Security is driven from the user’s application security or through a custom security process developed by KBACE. The server, in turn, provides the necessary data compressed into a data medium known as a Kube. Kubes can be downloaded at a far faster and more efficient rate than a standard query or view, with 100 times the amount of data.

Kube Manager also allows users to download Kubes that other users have submitted, and transfer Kubes via email or shared network folders. One five minute submission will allow a limitless number of users to run and customize as many reports as is necessary to meet your reporting needs.

Key to the KBX Data Management Suite concept is the distribution of dozens of report templates with each Kube of data. These reporting templates are built by KBACE Technologies through extensive consulting field research and are installed as part of the core product. Immediately after installation, end users have the ability to run and modify detailed reports with no consulting engagement required.
