The KBX™ CAPP Engine is a tool used by consultants to verify payroll setup and to aid in converting legacy system data to Oracle® Payroll. The KBX™ CAPP Engine is designed to reduce the time technical consultants spend customizing and reconciling employee payroll data. The KBX™ CAPP Engine leverages the power of Microsoft® Excel to allow optimal flexibility in verifying payroll balances and setups, and because it utilizes the denormalized KBX™ Payroll Data Store schema, the time required to run reconciliation reports is drastically reduced. Verify Payroll Balances Because business processes, setups, requirements, and tax engines differ between legacy systems and Oracle®, balancing between both systems is a complex process. The KBX™ CAPP Engine helps users to identify and drill down to the key entries that need to be balanced. Reduce Conversion Time and Cost Use the KBX™ CAPP Engine as a project management tool to reduce time spent by technical resources by minimizing technical development and customization. Once customization is complete, the net balancing process can be turned over to functional resources with no additional technical involvement required. Utilize the KBX™ Payroll Data Store Because the KBX™ CAPP Engine leverages the power of the KBX™ Payroll Data Store, running balance reports is much faster than typical balance extractions. The engine also accomplishes 90% of the technical requirements needed to perform balance reconciliation. The KBX™ Payroll Data Store allows users to utilize the power of Microsoft® Excel in drilling down to examine payroll balances.
Balance Legacy System Data and Oracle® Payroll The variety of business processes, setups, requirements, and tax engines used by legacy systems and Oracle® Payroll make it extremely difficult to balance employee payroll data in both systems. The KBX™ CAPP Engine uses KBX™ Kube Manager technology to extract information from Oracle® Payroll and compare it to a legacy system extract. By using Microsoft® Excel to reconcile the data, users can identify and drill down to the key balances that do not need to be balanced. |
